Your privacy matters. Here’s exactly what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Sitiala (“Sitiala,” “we,” “us” or “our”), part of Atomica Team, builds and maintains websites for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit sitiala.com or hire us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you contact us, book a call, or buy a package, you may share your name, email address, phone number, business name and details, and any content you send us for your website (text, images, logos). We only ask for what we need to do the work.
When you visit our site, we may collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location (from your IP address), pages viewed and referring links. This helps us understand how the site is used and keep it running well.
If you make a payment, your card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited confirmation details such as your name, email, the amount paid and whether the payment succeeded.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay, your information is handled under Stripe’s own privacy policy and security standards. We encourage you to review it at stripe.com/privacy. Because Sitiala is part of Atomica Team, that name may appear on your card statement or receipt — this is expected and secure.
We may use a small number of cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do. If we use an analytics provider, it processes usage data on our behalf and is not permitted to use it for its own advertising.
We share personal information only as needed to run our business:
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to ask us to stop certain uses. Residents of states such as California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. states with privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email us at hola@sitiala.com and we’ll respond as required by law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on trusted providers like Stripe for payment security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
We serve clients in the United States, and our team and some of our providers operate internationally, including in Guatemala. By using our services, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be posted on this page.
Questions about this policy or your information? Email hola@sitiala.com and we’ll be glad to help.
